LAKELAND, Florida - The offseason is coming to an end for the Detroit Tigers after that would start very early for some of the major players of the team.
Though the Tigers did great additions during the offseason, the focus will be enough during the preseason in three players whose campaigns in 2010 were disrupted by injury.
The Venezuelan Magglio Ordonez returns from a broken right ankle, Venezuelan Carlos Guillen a left knee injury and Joel Zumaya from a broken elbow right.
These three players are among which should be more during the season with the Tigers. Detroit
added during the offseason to Venezuelan Victor Martinez, infielder Joaquin Benoit and to Brad Penny.
The team hopes that a reduction in the number of injuries in 2011 to help you claim the title of the Central Division of the American League.
